Getting the Research Right

PhD scholars need to identify an original research idea such an idea needs to be practically applicable as such ideas can be many but few may actually pass the practicality test. The research needs to be both secondary and primary and sufficiently detailed. Careful understanding needs to be given to the planning and designing of research; qualitative and quantitative tools need to be chosen and arranged judiciously as per the problem logic, and enable correct and maximum data collection within a given time frame and budget. These days through the application of modern statistical packages it is possible to attain much more information from the data collected in very less time.
